I am one of the lucky few who knew what I was destined to do with my career since I was a young child. My mother and  grandmother were both talented seamstresses, and were experts in the art of beading. Strings of shiny sequins captured my attention and often covered the floors when I finished playing with them. I remember choosing patterns for the new clothes they would make for my dolls and for me, but choosing the fabric was always more fun.  When the time came to choose a college, my art teacher guided me to the field of textile design. Learning to weave, then learning and applying color theory sent me over the moon with excitement. After graduation I had the pleasure of designing jeans, hosiery and activewear for major US companies. One highlight was flying on our corporate jet to meet with Calvin Klein to discuss how we would manufacture the new product line he licensed to our company.

I also had the pleasure of working with other well known models and celebrities during photo shoots as they promoted our designs. I have always been enterprising and love the idea of making functional things fun and attractive. Working with our company, Of Wall Things, has allowed me to create and sell unique pin boards that are reflective of personal tastes and personalities.
